History

In 1990 a small group of 10 believers with a passion for souls and a heart for deliverance met in a tiny building located in Milwaukie, Oregon. The group soon numbered in the hundreds as more and more people responded to God's restoration message of goodness, healing, power and abundance.

Soon the young church outgrew its surroundings and moved to a new location on NE 76th and Glisan in Portland. With a vision for future growth, a piece of acreage was purchased in East Multnomah County in 1995.

Now, more than 18 years after that first tiny group met, thousands of people have found a new life in Jesus Christ. And those initial humble beginnings have led us to be a church to the nations. During the summer of 2006, New Beginnings expanded into a new 60,000 sq. ft. facility built on 24 acres in Gresham, Oregon.
