KidsZone Guidelines

NBCC and our KidsZone Ministry Staff welcome you and your children. We are excited about the opportunity to serve you!

Classes open 20 minutes before each service.

All parents must sign-in their child using the classroom registration
notebook and ID bracelet.

When you register you are assigned a pager number. This number will flash in the sanctuary in the event your child needs you.

The official KidsZone ID bracelet is required to pick up your child.

Children with contagious symptoms cannot be admitted into the Nursery. This includes: coughing, fever, diarrhea, eye infection, or green runny nose. We cannot administer any type of medication.

Please provide a well-stocked diaper bag (wipes, extra clothes, bottle). We will provide a snack.

Children should be picked up within 10 minutes after the end of the service. Children must be 14 or older to pick up nursery children. You must have the dismissal slip.

Separation anxiety may occur at check-in. Your child may cry but should settle down quickly. Be positive and reassuring. We will do our utmost to welcome and comfort your child. However, be prepared to wait outside of class for several minutes in case things don't settle down.

When attending an adult service with your child, please be aware that our ushers have been instructed by Pastor Brad to direct parents with a fussing or crying child to the Quiet Room, the Nursery or the Foyer.

Our Chapel Ministry brings the Bible alive in a way kids love and enjoy. We blend anointed teaching, prayer and music with fun object lessons, games, videos and skits. Kids learn to love the Lord and respect the things of God. It's extraordinary ministry for children every week.

We recommend your child come to Chapel prepared with a Bible and an offering. Children are always encouraged to take notes. KidsZone Bucks are given for this positive behavior and be spent in our KidsZone Store.
